Dahabo finished her degree in Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) from The University of Nairobi in 2023 and a Diploma in Information Communication Technology (ICT) from Umma University 2023. Attended trainings in promoting emotional wellbeing and self-care within the Africa-led movement to end FGM/C (Feb 2022), Resilience, Peacebuilding, Conflict Transformation and Facilitation (May 2022), Participatory Video and Participatory Monitoring and Evaluation (May 2021). Gender responsive leadership (July 2021),Climate change and sustainability (Feb 2023) Gender equality and women empowerment, Financial management and resource mobilization (Aug 2023)

Career
Dahabo started off her career journey as an enumerator for a livelihood improvement program funded by department for International Development (DFID) in Marsabit county in the year 2012 right after high school. She continued with social work even after joining campus and relentlessly pursued her passion for social and environmental work by volunteering and working/partnering with several local and International NGOs. Dahabo is a celebrated Champion for women empowerment and Human right Defender (HRD) in ASAL region of Kenya where she often uses her Spoken word art and Poetry in passing messages of peace, justice, equality and empowerment. Currently working at the Center for Research and Development in Dynamics (CRDD) as a Research Assistant under the ‘Building Resilience from below’ project.
