Raphael completed his Certificate in Natural Resource Management from The University of Nairobi in 2012. He has attained other certifications from attending short courses, workshops and conferences such as Tropentag, Bonn University (2011), GrassNet Summer School, DITSL (2011), Farmers field school methodology, ILRI & VSFB (2005) among others.

Hadija holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the International University of Africa, Sudan, completed in 2012. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA-K), having completed her certification through the Summit Institute of Professionals (2016–2020). She is a member of  institute of Certified Public Account of Kenya (ICPAK) Also she is trained in accounting software, including QuickBooks, Sage, and Pastel Accounting, in 2017.

Title: Research Assistant

Haro started off his career journey as an intern in National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) April- October 2018. Later, proceed to Dryland Learning and Capacity Building Initiative (DLCI) as programme assistant and then joined Ematech Solution Limited based in Muranga county as research assistant in the year 2021. He is currently working with Center for Research and Development in Drylands (CRDD) as Research Assistant under the Australian Center for international Agriculture Research (ACIAR) project.

Halkano started off his career journey as a correspondent for Free Pentecostal fellowship Alliance on the state of religious relation in Isiolo County from Nov- Dec 2021. There after worked with CRDD in Researching on the experiences and challenges different communities within Isiolo and Marsabit County faced in registering Community land (May-July 2022). He is currently working with Center for Research and Development in Drylands as Research Assistant under the InfoRange project.

Training Dahabo finished her degree in Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) from The University of Nairobi in 2023 and a Diploma in Information Communication Technology (ICT) from Umma University 2023. Attended trainings in promoting emotional wellbeing and self-care within the Africa-led movement to end FGM/C (Feb 2022), Resilience, Peacebuilding, Conflict Transformation and Facilitation (May 2022), Participatory Video and Participatory Monitoring and Evaluation (May 2021). Gender responsive leadership (July 2021),Climate change and sustainability (Feb 2023) Gender equality and women empowerment, Financial management and resource mobilization (Aug 2023)

Patricia completed her BSc. Foods, Nutrition and Dietetics at Egerton University, Kenya in 2015 and obtained her MSc Nutrition from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel (HUJI) in 2020. Additionally, she pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Global Health from The University of Manchester (2017-2019) and prior to that was awarded a Postgraduate Certificate in Humanitarian Operations Programs from Oxford Brookes University and Save the Children International (2017). She is currently undertaking her PhD research at DITSL, Germany, and CRDD, Kenya

Malit is a Range conservationist with over 5+ years of experience, knowledgeable of the current issues in Rangeland management. She worked for International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) as a research associate under the One health for Humans, environment, animals, and livelihoods (OH 4 HEAL) project within Isiolo in 2022. She took an active role at ILRI in contributing to integrative One Health activities- activities addressing the health of people, livestock and rangelands together-including collection and communication of monitoring information to HEAL, and distribution and dissemination of monitoring information on the ground.
